Hello and happy December! I can’t believe 2021 is almost over. I am so ready for 2022! Before we turn to the new year, it is time to share my December 2021 bullet journal setup, featuring lots of fun Christmas themed bullet journal pages. I also tried a few new pages this month, which I am excited to share.

I created two December bullet journal setup videos on my YouTube channel this month! The first is a regular bullet journal setup, with me talking you through each of the pages.
The second is a real-time plan with me video, which is a long video with no talking, just relaxing music. This video is perfect to put on in the background while you work on your own bullet journal. It’s also fun because it gives you a realistic look at how long it takes to create all of these monthly bullet journal pages.
Cover Page
My December bullet journal cover page was inspired by @wildeyesbujo on Instagram. I wrote out the word December in calligraphy lettering in the middle of the page, and filled the rest with wintery doodles, including greenery, snowflakes and ornaments.
My colour scheme this month is red, blue and green with a bit of yellow.
On the other side of this spread, I added a mini month-at-a-glance calendar, along with a to-do list section at the bottom. Along the right side of this page I wrote out 1 to 31, and this is a place where I can write out anything coming up this month, including events and appointments.
Monthly Calendar
My monthly calendar is the same size as always, and I’m sticking to it! I use these monthly calendars as a place to write out memories throughout the month, and I like having enough space on each day.
I filled the rest of the page with the same doodles as on the cover page.
Self Care Bingo
This is a new page for me this month, a self care bingo! I came up with 24 self care activities that I want to do this month, and I wrote them out on my bingo card, with the middle space as a free space.
I think this is so much fun! Anytime I want to do something for myself, I can look at this page and get an idea. I’m hoping to check off everything on this page this month!
Holiday Bucket List
This is another fun holiday-related page, my holiday bucket list! I filled this page with lots of Christmas doodles, and beside each doodle I wrote out a bucket list item I want to check off this holiday season.
Christmas Movies
This is a fun page for tracking which Christmas movies I watch this month. I made a table with the title of the movie on the left and a star rating out of five stars on the right.
I added some doodles of Christmas lights, stockings, candy canes and a bag of popcorn.
Mood Tracker
For my mood tracker this month, I drew an “ugly Christmas sweater!” I filled the sweater with Christmas designs and numbered them 1 to 31 for each day of the month, with a key at the bottom of the page. Each day of the month I’ll fill in the colour that represents my mood that day. I can’t wait to see how this sweater looks by the end of the month!
Highlight of the Day
Always my favourite page to look back on, this is my highlight of the day page for December. I wrote out the numbers of the month in two columns, and I added “joy to the world” at the bottom, along with a Christmas tree and a candy cane.
Christmas Countdown
This is another fun page specific to December, a Christmas countdown! I drew 24 Christmas presents, and every day I’ll colour in one as we get closer and closer to Christmas!
