Christmas Joy Sign
Supplies
- Dollar Tree Farm Life Calendar
- Square Wood Sign
- Red Felt
- Green Felt
- Hot Glue
- Red and Green Pipe Cleaner Garland
Instructions
- Cut out the December page from this Farm Life Dollar Tree calendar, which has three mason jars spelling out the word joy, and decorated with lots of pretty poinsettias.
2. Glue the calendar page onto this square Dollar Tree wood sign.
3. Write out the word joy onto a piece of red felt. Make sure the letters are big enough to cover the letters on the calendar page, then hot glue the felt letters overtop.
4. Cut out poinsettia shapes from red felt, layering two pieces on top of each other for a fuller look. To complete the poinsettias, add small green felt circles to the centres. Hot glue the flowers onto the calendar page.
5. Cut out a piece of red pipe cleaner garland and hot glue it around the edges of the sign.
6. Make two bows out of red and green pieces of pipe cleaner garland and hot glue them to the top of the sign.
Holly Jolly Christmas House Sign
Supplies
- Dollar Tree Beautiful Life Calendar
- Wood House Sign
- Hot Glue
- Red Felt
- Green Felt
- Cut out the December page from the Beautiful Life Dollar Tree calendar. This page has the words holly jolly underneath a picture of large holly. Cut out the phrase and the holly separately, leaving a small border around each.
2. For this DIY, we are using this wood house sign from Dollar Tree. To start, remove the mini wreath from the front of the sign.
3. Hot glue a piece of red felt onto the sign, leaving the red and black checkered pattern showing at the top.
4. Hot glue the holly and holly jolly phrase onto the sign.
5. Cut out three small circles out of the red felt, and hot glue them onto the holly berries. This makes the berries stand out a lot more, and ties it into the bottom part of the sign with the red felt.
6. Cut a strip of green felt to go along the bottom of the sign. Add some scalloped detailing on one side to make it a little more interesting.
Merry Christmas Y’all Sign
Supplies
- Dollar Tree Calendar
- Square Wood Sign
- Glue Stick
- Hot Glue
- Burlap Lace Ribbon
Instructions
- This Merry Christmas Y’all mason jar is from a previous Dollar Tree calendar I used in another DIY. For today’s DIY we are not using the mason jar part of the page, so just cut out the Merry Christmas Y’all phrase.
2. We are using this small square wood sign from Dollar Tree as the base for the DIY. Remove the string of beads for now (we will be using it later!).
3. Cut out a piece of Christmas themed scrapbook paper and glue it onto the sign.
4. Then glue the Merry Christmas Y’all phrase onto the sign.
5. Cut four pieces of burlap lace ribbon from Dollar Tree and hot glue them to each side of the sign.
6. Add the string of wood beads back to the sign with hot glue.
Christmas Joy Wreath Sign
Supplies
- Dollar Tree Locally Grown Calendar
- Square Wood Sign
- Red Paint
- White Flower
- Hot Glue
Instructions
- Cut out the December page from this Locally Grown calendar from Dollar Tree. This page has the word joy in the middle of a pretty Christmas wreath.
2. For this DIY we are using this wood square sign from Dollar Tree, where the centre is recessed into the sign.
3. Paint the sides of the sign with red paint, including the outer and inner edges.
4. Glue the calendar page onto the sign. Cutting the page so it fit perfectly inside the sign was a little tricky, so I do recommend measuring with a ruler to make your life a little easier.
5. Hot glue a white flower from Dollar Tree onto the top corner of the sign.
