Visiting the Cultus Lake Flower Festival Near Vancouver, B.C.

Cultus Lake Flower Festival

One of my favourite parts of summer is all the beautiful flowers everywhere. I love flowers, because they are so bright and fun, and there is so much variety! One of the best places to see a variety of flowers in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia is the Cultus Lake Flower Festival.

This festival features so many gorgeous flowers, and it is less than two hours away from Vancouver! This is a perfect summertime activity, especially when we are all trying to focus more on outdoor activities as much as possible this year.

When to Visit

In 2020, the Cultus Lake Flower Fest is running from July 20 to September 1.

On weekdays they are open from 4 p.m. until dusk.

On Saturdays and Sundays, they are open from 9 a.m. until dusk.

If you are going on a weekend, I recommend going as soon as they open. We went on Saturday at 9 a.m., and there was only one other family there. By the time we left around 10:30 a.m., it was starting to get busier.

What to Expect

My favourite part of the Cultus Lake Flower Fest is how many different flowers they have!

There are sunflowers, dahlias, zinnias, wildflowers and more! At every corner, I was more impressed by all the flowers. There is so much to see!

They also sell flower bouquets on site if you want to take home some of the beauty.

There is plenty of space to stay away from other people, especially if you go at a slower time.
